In this Year of the Eucharist and in preparation for the CIC’s second Eucharistic procession in May, we invite you to a special mission directed by Fr. Patrick Mary Briscoe, OP, a Dominican friar and the editor of Our Sunday Visitor—as well as an official and dynamic preacher of the National Eucharistic Revival. Fr. Patrick’s meditations will focus on a co-patron of the Eucharistic Revival and the first beatified millennial, Blessed Carlo Acutis.

4/20/24 SCHEDULE:
9:30am: Doors open for check-in; Coffee and light breakfast refreshments offered
10:00am: Conference 1 — The Spirituality of Blessed Carlo Acutis
10:30am: Small group discussion #1
11:00am: Daily Mass (approx. 30 minutes)
After Mass-1:00pm: Lunch break on your own
1:00pm: Conference 2 — Miracles of the Eucharist & Blessed Carlo
1:30pm: Small group discussion #2
2:00pm: Break & social
2:30pm: Conference 3 — Living a Eucharistic Life
3:00pm: Small group discussion #3
3:30pm: Pray the Rosary together
4:00pm: Conclusion
This mission will be offered in-person only at the CIC, located at 1501 K Street, NW. Please note that the CIC building’s garage is closed on Saturday mornings, but street parking is available or use an app like Spothero to locate open garages.

Fr. Patrick Mary Briscoe, OP, is a Dominican friar and the editor of Our Sunday Visitor. Along with his Dominican brothers, he is host of the podcast Godsplaining and a co-author of Saint Dominic’s Way of Life: A Path to Knowing and Loving God.
