You’re invited to our upcoming talk with author Fr. Mark-Mary Ames, CFR, on his newly released book, The Father: 30 Meditations to Draw You into the Heart of God. Before Fr. Ames’ presentation, the CIC is hosting a special holy hour with musical artist, Marie Miller, as part of the CIC’s Year of the Eucharist activities in advance of our May 18th Eucharistic procession in downtown Washington.
Fr. Ames’ talk will offer you a glimpse of his new book, which leads the reader on a 30-day journey that unveils the boundless love of God the Father, who has “a plan of sheer goodness” (CCC 1) for each of us. The Father will be for sale at the CIC bookstore.
The event will be offered both in-person and virtually through YouTube. Please RSVP today.

About the Speakers
Marie Miller is a multi-faceted artist and speaker who weaves music, humor, and storytelling to convey God’s love for us and our opportunity to share that love with others.
Fr. Mark-Mary Ames, CFR is the Director of Priestly Studies and Director of Communications for the Franciscan Friars of the Renewal and canonical spiritual director at St. Joseph’s Seminary, Dunwoodie in New York. He also is a weekly presenter on Ascension Presents and host of The Poco a Poco Podcast.
