Fr. Patrick Mary Briscoe, OP

Fr. Patrick Mary Briscoe, OP, is a Dominican friar and the editor of Our Sunday Visitor. Along with his Dominican brothers, he is host of the podcast Godsplaining and a co-author of Saint Dominic’s Way of Life: A Path to Knowing and Loving God. He is also the author of the OSV seasonal devotional, My Daily Visitor. Previously, he was the Editor-in-Chief of the Catholic news and spirituality website Aleteia. 

Fr. Patrick graduated from Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota, where he studied philosophy and French literature. Following his ordination to the priesthood in 2016, he worked on special assignment for the Knights of Columbus in Krakow, Poland, as an organizer at the World Youth Day Mercy Centre. Fr. Patrick holds a Licentiate in Sacred Theology from the Dominican House of Studies in Washington, DC.
