The New Protest Art: Why Our Culture Needs Public Sacred Art

On Thursday April 29th, the CIC unveiled a monumental new work of art, The Salvation Triptych by Andrew de Sa. This larger than life series of paintings, which will be displayed for a time at the Catholic Information Center, aims to draw the viewer into the cosmic story of Christianity. In addition to giving us a virtual tour of his studio, Andrew lead a conversation on the mind-shaping power of images and the exciting role that artists play in evangelizing a society increasingly unfamiliar with the Christian story.

Andrew de Sa is a classically trained artist working in the Washington D.C. area.
