Drinking with Your Patron Saints: The Sinner’s Guide to Honoring Namesakes and Protectors

During this livestreamed event, Michael P. Foley discusses his newest book, “Drinking with Your Patron Saints: The Sinner’s Guide to Honoring Namesakes and Protectors.” Michael kicks off the event by walking you through some of his signature drinks followed by a presentation. From there he engages the audience and answers their questions, including the creation of a brand new cocktail!

Kneeling Donkey
1 ½ oz Fundador brandy (or any brandy, but Fundador was the brandy of St. Jose Maria Escriva, the self-named “Mangy Donkey”)
½ oz. lemon juice (for the bitterness of initial unbelief)
½ oz. honey simple syrup (for the sweetness of final belief in the Real Presence)
1 dash of orange bitters

About the Speaker
