The CIC Legal and Policy Professionals Program is a regular series of events bringing together lawyers, aspiring lawyers, and professionals in the public policy arena, to discuss common issues in professional life.
About the Speaker
Mr. Emmet Flood is a partner at a major DC law firm. His clients have included individuals in both the public and private sectors, as well as corporations and professional services firms, facing crisis situations, investigations, and other sensitive matters. They include three Presidents, two Vice Presidents, public company CEOs, numerous Cabinet-level and senior White House officials from both Republican and Democratic administrations, and top-tier professional firms. He has represented clients in five nationally significant Independent/Special Counsel investigations and in dozens of Congressional investigations. He has also represented the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops and the Archdiocese of Washington. Before beginning his practice, he was a law clerk for Associate Justice Antonin Scalia at the Supreme Court of the United States and for Judge Ralph K. Winter, Jr. on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit.
