Join us on Monday, April 27, 2026 at 6:00 PM EDT for “Party of One: Can a Women’s & Gender Studies Program Be Faithful to the Magisterium?” This presentation will explore the University of St. Thomas’ (Houston) Master’s in Catholic Women’s and Gender Studies through their Nesti Center for Faith and Culture. The University states that this program, which explore contemporary questions of gender and sexuality is informed by Catholic teaching about the human person and the lone program faithful to the Church. Is this possible?

Dr. Eileen Reuter is a Research Fellow for the Nesti Center for Faith and Culture at the University of St Thomas (Houston), teaching a course on The Human Person for the new Catholic Women’s and Gender Studies Program.
Leah Jacobson is a non-profit founder, public speaker, international board-certified lactation consultant, and author. Since 2024, she has been the Program Manager at the University of St. Thomas in Houston, Texas and has overseen the creation of the first ever Catholic Women’s and Gender Studies graduate program.
Mary Eberstadt holds the Panula Chair in Christian Culture at the Catholic Information Center in Washington DC, is Senior Research Fellow at the Faith & Reason Institute, and is an American writer whose contributions to the intellectual landscape traverse several genres.
