Description

Join us on Monday, April 27, 2026 at 6:00 PM EDT for “Party of One: Can a Women’s & Gender Studies Program Be Faithful to the Magisterium?” This presentation will explore the University of St. Thomas’ (Houston) Master’s in Catholic Women’s and Gender Studies through their Nesti Center for Faith and Culture. The University states that this program, which explore contemporary questions of gender and sexuality is informed by Catholic teaching about the human person and the lone program faithful to the Church. Is this possible?

Our presenters are:

  • Mary Eberstadt – Panula Chair in Christian Culture at the Catholic Information Center in Washington D.C. and is Senior Research Fellow at the Faith & Reason Institute
  • Leah Jacobson – Program Manager at the University of St. Thomas in Houston
  • Dr. Eileen Reuter – Research Fellow for the Nesti Center for Faith and Culture at the University of St Thomas (Houston)

This discussion will be offered by in-person and virtually through a livestream.

After the program, we invite you to stay for a happy (half) hour social.
