Thursday, May 11, 2023

6:00 pm EDT - 8:00 pm EDT

Catholic Information Center

1501 K Street NW
Washington, DC 20005 United States

Description

Come to the next Legal and Policy Professionals Program — a series of talks on practical issues facing lawyers and others in the public square.

Lawyers and policy professionals often change jobs during a career. When considering a move, how should we approach the discernment process? What can make us restless, even in a rewarding job?Hear from a panel of experienced Beltway professionals on these subjects — some who left, some who stayed, and some who went in completely new directions.

About our Speakers:

Brian Svoboda: Director, Law and Public Policy Program at the Catholic University of America Law School, and Partner, Perkins Coie LLP

Alice Holian: Former attorney, U.S. Marine wife, mother of two young children, and an active volunteer

Susanne Keveney: Deputy Director, NWS Office of Dissemination, National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration
