Description

The CIC and Thomistic Institute invite you to join Professor Michael P. Foley at the Catholic Information Center for an evening of saintly cocktails and his talk, The Art of Dating, on Friday, April 25, 2025 at 6:00 PM EDT. Professor Foley will discuss dating as an art, address the challenges posed by the sexual revolution and social media, and offer advice for men and women to approach relationships with virtue and integrity.

After his presentation, join us for a happy hour of saintly cocktails and an opportunity to purchase Dr. Foley’s books and get them signed at the CIC bookstore.

Friday, April 25th Schedule:

  • 5:45 pm EDT: Doors open for registrant check-in
  • 6:00 pm EDT: “The Art of Dating” presentation by Professor Michael P. Foley (this portion will be offered both in-person and virtually via a livestream)
  • 7:00 pm EDT: Happy hour and booksigning
  • 8:00 pm EDT: Conclusion

About the Speaker

Michael P. Foley is the son of an Irish-German father and a French-Canadian mother, so yes, he grew up taking both Catholicism and drinking seriously.
