On behalf of the Napa Institute, in collaboration with the Catholic Information Center, you are invited to attend a talk with Dr. Kevin Roberts, President of the Heritage Foundation, entitled “A Duty to God & Country: How to Manage Conflicts Between Culture & Conscience.”
Given Dr. Roberts’ leadership of the preeminent public policy research and education institution as well as his own strong faith, he will help guide us through this topic so that we can better navigate those times were policy and faith require two different responses.
The event will begin with Holy Mass for the Feast of Saint Matthew—the patron saint of civil servants—on Thursday, September 21 followed by the talk for about 45 minutes. It will conclude with Q&A and a light reception. All this will occur at the CIC located at 1501 K Street, NW.
About the Speaker
Kevin D. Roberts, Ph.D., was named President of The Heritage Foundation in October 2021. He succeeded former Heritage President Kay C. James as the seventh President in the organization’s 50-year history.
