Fr. Cajetan Cuddy, OP
Fr. Cajetan Cuddy, OP teaches dogmatic and moral theology at the Dominican House of Studies in Washington, D.C. He is the General Editor of the Encyclopedia of Catholic Theology. He serves as the General Editor of the Thomist Tradition Series, and he is the author of The Summa Illuminated (Ave Maria Press, 2026), Catholic Theology: An Introduction (ECT Press, 2025), and he is co-author of Thomas and the Thomists: The Achievement of St. Thomas Aquinas and His Interpreters (Fortress Press, 2017). Fr. Cuddy has written for numerous publications on the philosophy and theology of St. Thomas Aquinas and the Thomist Tradition. Trueman’s latest book, the best-selling The Rise and Triumph of the Modern Self, explores the nature of the sexual revolution against the background of the development of expressive individualism. It has been described by Rod Dreher, writing in the Wall Street Journal as “one of the most important religious books of the decade” and by Ben Shapiro as “the most important book of our moment.” A concise version of his argument, Strange New World, is due to be published in February 2022, with a foreword authored by EPPC President Ryan T. Anderson.
