Ericka Anderson

Ericka Anderson is a freelance writer, podcaster, author, and mother of two living in Indianapolis with her husband, Rick.

She has been published in the Wall Street Journal, the New York Times, USA Today, and the Washington Post. Ericka is a columnist for WORLD Magazine Opinions and a freelance contributor to Christianity Today.

Previously Ericka worked for National Review magazine, the Heritage Foundation as the Online Media Director for Congressional House Leadership, and Human Events magazine.

Ericka is the host of the “Worth Your Time” podcast, which features bold women living out big dreams for God and making a difference in the world.

She is the author of Leaving Cloud 9: The True Story of a Life Resurrected From the Ashes of Poverty, Trauma and Mental Illness (2018), Reason to Return: Why Women Need the Church and the Church Needs Women (2023), and Freely Sober: Rethinking Alcohol Through the Lens of Faith (2026).
