Chris Cottrell
Chris Cottrell is a cofounder of Shepherd’s, a made-to-measure men’s suiting company, based in Kansas City. Chris co-founded this company with Kansas City Chief’s Kicker Harrison Butker, Nathan Price, and Austin Wright who have one special thing in common: their Catholic faith.
Chris is also a Founding Partner at Verde Peak Partners, where he works closely with entrepreneurs and small business owners to exit their business while preserving their legacy and team. He previously worked at Guidehouse (previously PricewaterhouseCoopers) where he advised senior leaders at the Department of Homeland Security, and at Yodle (acquired by Web.com) where he managed a team of 20+ and revenue over $15M.
He holds an MPA from Harvard Kennedy School, an MBA at Georgetown University’s McDonough School of Business where he was awarded one of two full scholarships and won the international Venture Capital Investment Competition, and a BS in Political Science at Arizona State University.
Chris also serves as an intelligence officer in the U.S. Army Reserve, and deployed with U.S. Special Operations Command, earning a Bronze Star.
