Luke Burgis

Luke Burgis is Director of the Cluny Project and a seasoned entrepreneur, educator, and author. He serves on the faculty as a  professor of practice at the Busch School of Business at The Catholic University of America.

Burgis is the author of Wanting: The Power of Mimetic Desire in Everyday Life (2021), The One and the Ninety-Nine: Forging Identity in the Age of Social Contagion (2026), and co-author of Unrepeatable: Cultivating the Unique Calling of Every Person. He is the editor of the volume Be Not Conformed: René Girard at the Intersection of Athens, Jerusalem, and Silicon Valley (2026).

He lives in Washington, DC and Western Michigan with his wife, Claire, and their children.
