| Dear friend of the Catholic Information Center, In this time of uncertainty, I am praying for everyone’s health and safety. We at the CIC want to continue to be able to offer spiritual and intellectual resources for you, working within the constraints of the current situation. While all public Masses and events are cancelled at the CIC effective March 14 until further notice from the Archdiocese of Washington, I want to share with you the range of online offerings that the CIC will provide on a daily basis. All times listed are Eastern Daylight Time. o Beginning Monday, March 16th, my private Mass will be livestreamed via the CIC website, YouTube, and Twitter at 9:30 AM (ET), Monday through Friday. o Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament will be livestreamed Monday through Friday from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM. o Recitation of the holy rosary will be livestreamed Monday through Friday at 12:00 PM. o We will re-post video content from popular past events. If possible, we will livestream talks by local speakers. New Business Hours and Confession Schedule: o New operating hours of the CIC will be 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM, Monday through Friday. o I will continue to hear confessions Monday through Friday, from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM, and then from 12:30 PM on. The season of Lent is a cherished time of year for Catholics for prayer and reflection, and we will continue to serve you in any way we can that is consistent with what is best for the health and safety of the vulnerable among us. One of the beautiful messages of Lent is that Jesus Christ is always close to us in times of suffering. Let us meditate together on this consoling truth of our faith in the coming days.
