Extended Opening Hours this Weekend at the CIC!
A Special Message from Fr. Charles Trullols: |

Dear Friends of the CIC, 2025 is a special year for the whole Catholic Church. We’re celebrating a Jubilee, a Holy Year in which we open ourselves to God in a prominent way for Him to transform our lives. It is my desire that this year the Catholic Information Center—which hosts the closest tabernacle to the White House with Jesus truly present in the Blessed Sacrament—becomes a center of prayer for our country, our elected leaders, our future, all our brothers and sisters, our military, and so many other intentions. The CIC is located on K street, a unique location in our country for all those visiting downtown Washington, DC. Please make it a place of pilgrimage during this Jubilee year. Visit us to visit Jesus Christ, and stop by to pray for our nation and for all your special intentions. View the CIC’s extended opening hours this weekend below. Spread the news! The Church has dedicated this Holy Year to the theme “Pilgrims of Hope,” which allows us to be convinced of our possibility to be saved by “God’s eternal and infinite love” regardless of our own weaknesses and limitations. Christian hope is founded on the power and love of God, not on our own devices. Jesus himself taught us the Our Father, and the Apostles prayed it with Him. Let’s do the same at the chapel of the Catholic Information Center. This year, let’s demonstrate to all those around us that we are a people of Faith who prays. My deepest request is that you share this message with all your friends who may be visiting Washington, DC this year. Join the movement of prayer, and become a pilgrim of hope! Wishing you a Happy New Year, Fr. Charles Trullols Director, Catholic Information Center |
