Description

The CIC and the Napa Institute invite you to register for our next collaboration, “The Synod on Synodality in Context,” with Fr. Donald Planty on Thursday, November 7th. Fr. Planty is the pastor of St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church of the Diocese of Arlington, and he has been the liaison of Arlington, Virginia’s Bishop Michael F. Burbidge for the synodal process. He is a member of the USCCB committee drafting Arlington’s regional synodal synthesis reports and was also an attendee at the recent World Meeting of Priests for the Synod in Rome.

Fr. Planty will share his own experiences and insights and help us understand this important process the Church has been going through these past few years.

This talk will be offered both in-person and virtually.

Schedule:

  • 5:00 pm EST: The CIC’s doors open for registrant check-in
  • 5:15 pm EST: Mass in the CIC chapel celebrated by Fr. Planty
  • 6:00 pm EST: Presentation (this portion will be offered virtually via a livestream)
