Resurrection on Trial

Join attorney and law professor Peter Martino for a presentation of his book, Resurrection on Trial: A Judicial Inquiry into the Christian Claim of the Resurrection of Jesus on Thursday, October 8, 2026 at 6:00 PM EDT. Resurrection on Trial examines the Resurrection through a distinctive legal framework: it treats the historical evidence as an appellate record and asks what would happen if the case for the Resurrection came before the U.S. Supreme Court. The question is not whether belief in the Resurrection is spiritually meaningful, but whether the conclusion that Jesus rose from the dead is supported by the evidence under the standards courts actually apply. The book carries endorsements from Scott Hahn, George Weigel, Michael Licona, and Bishop Joseph Coffey.
