A thought-provoking and insightful dialogue as Lauren Ashburn, Managing Editor and Anchor of EWTN Nightly News with Lauren Ashburn, interviews Dr. Engelland about his new book, Force for Good: The Catholic Guide to Business Integrity.
This fast-paced book, written by the Assistant Dean of the School of Business and Economics at the Catholic University of America, argues that the creation of integrity-infused organizations is the key to long-term success, personally and in the marketplace. Through sound explanations, detailed examples, and personal stories, it shows business leaders how to infuse integrity and bring success into their organizations by implementing the four core principles of Catholic Social Doctrine.
Introductory remarks were given by Dr. Andrew Abela, Provost of The Catholic University of America.
Dr. Brian Engelland is ordinary professor of marketing in the Busch School of Business and Economics at The Catholic University of America. He holds the Edward J. Pryzbyla Chair of Business and Economics.
Lauren Ashburn is Managing Editor and Anchor for EWTN News Nightly with Lauren Ashburn. She was previously the White House Correspondent and Political Director for EWTN News Nightly.Ashburn is an award-winning reporter who travelled to Iraq in 2017 to cover the plight of Christians. She also testified before the House Foreign Affairs Subcommittee on aid to Christian survivors of the ISIS genocide.
Andrew V. Abela, PhD is the founding dean of the Busch School of Business and Ordinary Professor of Marketing at The Catholic University of America, in Washington, D.C. He is a faculty affiliate at the Harvard University Human Flourishing Program and a Contributor at Forbes.com.
His two most recent books are Superhabits: The Universal System for a Successful Life from Sophia Press and A Catechism for Business from Catholic University Press.
