The CIC is pleased to invite you to an upcoming panel discussion, Dignitas Infinita: The Church on Human Dignity, co-sponsored with the Thomas More Society of America.

In our post-Fiducia supplicans world, there was much uncertainty when the Vatican announced that the Dicastery for the Doctrine of the Faith would publish a declaration on human dignity, Dignitas infinita, this spring. What did it say on moral issues at the heart of Catholic social teaching, including gender theory, surrogacy, and threats to human life, as well as poverty, war, and human migration? Don’t miss our upcoming May 8th panel discussion with:

  • Helen Alvaré – Robert A. Levy Endowed Chair in Law and Liberty at George Mason University’s Antonin Scalia Law School
  • Very Rev. Thomas Petri, O.P. – President of the Pontifical Faculty of the Immaculate Conception at the Dominican House of Studies
  • Robert Royal – Editor-in-chief of The Catholic Thing and President of the Faith & Reason Institute

The event will be offered both in-person and virtually through YouTube. Please RSVP today.

May 8th Schedule:

  • 6:30 pm: Panel Discussion (This portion will be livestreamed through YouTube.)
  • 7:30 pm: Reception
  • 8:30 pm: Conclusion
