Description

THIS ROOFTOP EVENT IS OFFERED IN-PERSON ONLY (No Livestream)

Well-known classical architect and Catholic University professor James McCrery redesigned the Catholic Information Center in 2022—but he has never before spoken at the CIC!

On Wednesday, June 24, 2026 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM EDT,  join the CIC for an evening on our building’s rooftop with Mr. McCrery in a conversation with art critic William Newton. Mr. McCrery will discuss some of his significant ecclesiastical projects, including his work for the CIC, and shares his views on why classical church architecture is experiencing a significant revival.

You must RSVP in advance as there is limited space available on the rooftopThere will be no day-of, walk-in registrations allowed. On the day-of starting at 7:00 PM, you may check-in at the CIC building’s main foyer with the Security team. Once checked in, you will be escorted to the elevator.
