You’re invited for a presentation by His Excellency Bishop Louis Tylka on the life, legacy, and upcoming beatification of Archbishop Fulton Sheen on Monday, September 14. This program will be offered both in-person and virtually through a livestream.
Archbishop Sheen was ordained a priest in Peoria, and today Bishop Tylka leads the Diocese of Peoria as it advances the archbishop’s cause for beatification. Drawing on this unique connection, Bishop Tylka will offer a personal and informed perspective on Archbishop Sheen’s holiness, extraordinary legacy as an evangelist, the significance of his becoming an American saint, and his enduring relevance to the Church today.

About the Speaker
Bishop Louis Tylka is the ninth Bishop of Peoria and serves as the promoter of the Cause for Canonization of Archbishop Fulton J. Sheen and head of the Fulton Sheen Foundation.
