Please note that this event will take place at the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception and the Catholic University of America in Washington’s Brookland neighborhood.

The Napa Institute & the Catholic Information Center are delighted to welcome His Eminence Robert Cardinal Sarah, Prefect emeritus of the Congregation of Divine Worship and the Discipline of the Sacraments, Archbishop emeritus of Conakry (Guinea) to Washington, DC.

  • 5:15 PM: Mass with His Eminence at The Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception
  • 6:15-8:00 PM: Talk and reception with Cardinal Sarah on the campus of Catholic University of America
  • 8:00 PM: Event Concludes

About the Speaker

Robert Cardinal Sarah is the Prefect emeritus of the Congregation of Divine Worship and the Discipline of the Sacraments, and Archbishop emeritus of Conakry (Guinea). His Eminence is the author of the Power of Silence: Against the Dictatorship of Noise (Ignatius, 2017), The Day is Now Far Spent (Ignatius, 2019), and He Gave Us So Much: A Tribute to Benedict XVI (Ignatius, 2023), amongst others.
