2020 John Paul II New Evangelization Awardee

The ninth annual dinner in honor of the John Paul II Award for the New Evangelization was held virtually on Wednesday, October 21, 2020. Recipients of the John Paul II New Evangelization Award demonstrate an exemplary commitment to proclaiming Christ to the world.

In 2020, the CIC was proud to honor Arthur C. Brooks, Professor of the Practice of Public Leadership at the Harvard Kennedy School and Arthur C. Patterson Faculty Fellow at the Harvard Business School.

Before joining the Harvard faculty in July of 2019, he served for ten years as president of the Washington, D.C.-based American Enterprise Institute (AEI), one of the world’s leading think tanks. Through his writings, leadership, and public engagement, Arthur has been a persistent witness to the Lord’s command that we love one another as He loves us, and to the inherent dignity of every human person. He is an exemplar of the evangelical mission of the Church as envisioned by St. John Paul II.
