The annual dinner in honor of the John Paul II Award for the New Evangelization is held towards the end of October at the Mayflower Hotel in Washington DC. Recipients of the John Paul II New Evangelization Award demonstrate an exemplary commitment to proclaiming Christ to the world.

This year’s annual dinner will be held on Thursday, October 22, 2020.

This year, the CIC is proud to honor Arthur C. Brooks, Professor of the Practice of Public Leadership at the Harvard Kennedy School and Arthur C. Patterson Faculty Fellow at the Harvard Business School. Before joining the Harvard faculty in July of 2019, he served for ten years as president of the Washington, D.C.-based American Enterprise Institute (AEI), one of the world’s leading think tanks. Through his writings, leadership, and public engagement, Arthur has been a persistent witness to the Lord’s command that we love one another as He loves us, and to the inherent dignity of every human person. He is an exemplar of the evangelical mission of the Church as envisioned by St. John Paul II.
