Support the CIC’s mission this Advent.

Hope. Peace. Joy. Love.

The traditional themes of Advent allow us—through meditation, prayer, and the sacraments—to contemplate ways to share our deepest gifts.

Daily Mass (12:00pm ET)

Advent, a period of preparation for the birth of our Lord, is a time of joyous anticipation, but also of penance and preparation for the great Christmas feast. We encourage you to find time to slow down this Christmas season, say “no” to the things that distract you from Jesus and say “yes” to the gift that God wants you to experience. Prepare the way for Christ by joining the CIC for Daily Mass in-person at 12:00pm ET Monday-Friday.

Adoration

Eucharistic Adoration is a great way to seek peace and quiet during the hustle and bustle of Advent. Furthermore, adoring Christ in the Eucharist prepares our heart to adore the Lord at the nativity.

Confession (After Mass)

Amid the many ways Catholics get ready to celebrate the birth of Jesus — festive potlucks, gift-giving, entertaining family and friends — the sacrament of reconciliation is often overlooked. Yet a good confession can be one of the best ways to enter into the joy of the nativity with a clean heart. Confessions are heard at the CIC after daily Mass Monday-Friday.

“Every Christmas should be for us a new and special meeting with God, when we allow His light and grace to enter deep into our soul. ”

-St. Josemaría Escrivá

Support our St. Joseph the Builder Campaign!

Advent is upon us, and we find ourselves in a time of busy preparation to ready our hearts and homes to receive and celebrate the coming of our Incarnate Lord at Christmas. We at the CIC are also busy preparing for a much needed floor-to-ceiling renovation that will begin in January at our K Street location.

We ask you to prayerfully consider a contribution towards our St. Joseph the Builder Campaign.
